Reunion A Troop 4 th Squadron 12 th Cavalry Regiment

October 28 th thru November 1 st 2015

This years reunion is being held at the Hampton Inn in Columbus Georgia. It is the closest hotel to Fort Benning and to the Infantry Museum. Currently we are working up some events for Thursday and Friday but details have not been firmed up to date.

Thursday: A Tour of Ft. Benning we are hoping to be able to tour areas such as the airfield and see some of the newest in air support technology, the Cav Motor pool to see the M1’s and Bradley fighting vehicles, and anything else the might have new weapons, night vision stuff and possibly thermal imaging equipment. A trip to one of the firing ranges is also possible. A meal in the Mess Hall. Meet and greet new soldiers. All of this is still in the works and nothing can be finalized this early.

Friday: Attend a Graduation of a Basic Training outfit, or One station unit training (Infantry/Armor FNGs) The parade field is adjacent to the infantry museum. Following the Graduation event a tour of the Infantry Museum is planned this can be self-guided or we can organize a group tour. Tours come in different types There is a cost of $13 per person for the tour and will require a separate registration. Please indicate on the regular registration for your interest in the Museum Tour.

Saturday: The dedication of the A Troop Memorial at memorial garden alongside the Museum. After the dedication ceremony we will return to the hotel for our business meeting. Our banquet will be held in the Heritage Hall in the Infantry Museum. With Pictures taken at Five O’clock and Dinner at Six, We must vacate the hall by Ten.
