This year's group was a little smaller (88 attendees) , the Cav Sisters Luncheon was well attended with 23 and this year they had their group picture taken by the same photographer that handled the Troop picture.

Business Meeting:

Pat Ivory was unable to attend the reunion due to family illness on her side of the family. Further information with regards to the Troop Cookbook will be coming out in the near future.

Troop Memorial Project information was presented by Bob Schlitzberger, we now have a clearer picture of cost and the Troop provide direction for Bob on what we felt should/could be place directly on the memorial. At this time Bob will draft a drawing of the memorial and it will be place in the Troop Newsletter and by email so anyone wishing to give input will have the opportunity.

With Cpt Smith's challenge and money donated at the reunion, we have made sufficient progress on the fund raising required.

TROOP VIDEO

Dave Boshell, invited a young man (a family friend) to attend the Business Meeting to present a project that he wishes to under take.  Drew Dorsey (a cinematographer) has grown up listening to Dave's sons talk about how Nam has impacted their dad. He came to the meeting to inquire if enough Troopers would be interested in being included in this project. Using photos and interviews, he wishes to capture the Troopers experiences and memories with regards to sufficient events during their tour. We hope to have more information for the Troop Newsletter going out after the first of the year. Anyone wishing to contact Drew Dorsey direct use this email address  drewdorsey@cox.net  or check out this site www.ddorseycine.com . At this point in time you know as much as we do.

Tom and Terri McPhee pulled together a little bowling tournament Saturday afternoon. Jim Davis won first place with a score of 155.

Reunion 2009

1st Platoon's Ken Dye, Jim Rinaldi, and it would not surprise anyone if Dave Larson name was included here as part of the reunion committee very soon.
The current plan is to attempt to secure a good location near Niagra Falls; should this plan not work out, we will be back to the Gold Coast. A date and place should be posted on the Troop website before the end of the year and in the Troop Newsletter when it comes out after the first of the year.

Reunion 2010

2nd Platoon will be handling this reunion, there were about 9 2nd Platoon Troopers who said they would handle it. All they have to do now is decide who is in charge.

Dennis Perrino had another great Italian Night Out. The problem was that everyone ate too much and would you believe it some even drank too much.

Once again this is just a snap shot more details and lots of pictures will be in the next newsletter.

Keith Eaton and Jim Clark  put together a great reunion, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK.
