SOS Recipe from Bob Taylor
2 POUNDS OF GROUND MEAT, COOK AND DRAIN OFF GREASE
STIR THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS INTO THE CRUMBLED COOKED MEAT:
1 1/2 TSP SALT
1/2 TSP PEPPER
1/2 TSP ONION POWDER
3/4 CUP FLOUR
2/3 CUP POWDERED DRY MILK
MIX THE INGREDIENTS WITH THE MEAT , STIR AND BLEND TOGETHER SO THE MEAT IS EVENLY COATED WITH THE DRY INGREDIENTS.
TURN THE STOVE TO MEDIUM HIGH HEAT AND SLOWLY ADD 3 CUPS OF WATER STIRRING CONSANTLY. GRAVY WILL FORM AS YOU STIR AND SLOWLY ADD THE WATER. YOU MIGHT NOT NEED ALL OF IT OR YOU MIGHT NEED MORE.
SERVE OVER CHEAP WHITE BREAD.
